This fun, interactive class is encouraged before you deliver your new little bundle; to boost your confidence and help you transition into your new role as parents. We provide expectant parents with practical information to help prepare you for your baby's first months at home. You will also practice diapering, bathing, and dressing your baby. Newborn health and safety will be covered as well. Come and learn about your amazing newborn!

Topics include:

Tips on adjusting to parenthood. Newborn traits and behaviors. Why babies cry, and how to cope with and comfort them. Feeding basics. Safe sleep and wake cycles. Diapering, bathing, dressing, and swaddling.

Please note: This class does not provide breastfeeding techniques or CPR certification.

The cost of the class is $50.00. (this price includes one support person)

The class will be held at the University of Colorado Hospital. Please enter through the front entrance of the hospital and check in at the front desk. Let them know that you need to go to the "E" elevators. Take the "E" elevators to the 5th floor and turn right and then another right and the room will be on the left side. (Room # 5.516) There will be signs posted to direct you as well.
