Colorado brings challanges to providers in a beautiful backdrop. We are pleased to present this Wilderness EMS course in partnership with the CU Medical School. This five day, intensive course combines classroom learning with live field experinces and application. Whether you work as an search and rescue volunteer or work as a provider in a rural/frontier area, this course helps create a problem solving and improvising in an area where distancec and time change the complexity of patient care.

Two days are in the classroom with some online work on the Anschutz campus, followed by a three day intesive course at Cal Wood Ranch in wilderness setting. Tents are provided and this course will allow you to apply all you have learned in an outdoor enviroment as you have been trained for. For paramedics, there is now a ISBC board exam for the paramedic to challenge.
